Find out how simple it is to organise a session and the diverse range of topics that can be covered.
1. GET IN CONTACT
Email is definitely the easiest way for me but please get in touch through Facebook if that works best for you. See my contact page for further info.
2. SCHEDULE A DATE
I appreciate how tricky it can be to plan around term dates and special events so please just pick a range of dates that suit you most and I will do my best to accommodate.
Afternoon sessions are preferred. Sessions are usually 30 minutes: a 25 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for any questions, but this is very flexible.
3. ON THE DAY
I deliver my presentations using my speaking device (EyeGaze) with the aid of PowerPoint.
Presentations done virtually are conducted through Microsoft Teams or Google Teams. Presentations done in person are aided by a slide set stored on a USB but I can bring my computer if needed. I have previously used projectors in university halls and schoolrooms without any problem but if you do not have access to a projector, I can cater for this.
The wheelchair I use is electrical and slightly bigger than your average manual chair. Please ensure to have a room with enough space for manoeuvring and to ensure all the audience will be able to easily view the presentation.
4. SPREAD THE WORD
There is no fee for any of the work that I do. All that I ask in return is that you please find the time to give some feedback! Please do spread the word if you feel you have gained from my work and hope others can do too.
Examples of past topics are below but do get in touch if there are others you would like to discuss.
