Occupational Therapy

The service of occupational therapy has been a big part of my life because this role, more than any other healthcare professional, focuses on comfort on a daily basis.

The University of South Bank offered me the opportunity to become a regular lecture as part of a permanent module in the occupational therapist undergraduate course.

This hour long workshop, which I have returned to repeat on 9 occasions, touched upon many aspects of my life such as the fundamental role of occupational therapy in maximising the experience of university students with disabilities who live in accommodation away from home.
